"Fits well but disappointing light output"

Bought this (2 of these) as a replacement for a 12V halogen after removing the transformer. The bulb is so dim, it is dimmer than both my 50W GU10s and even 35W GU10s. Nothing to fault BLT as the order and resulting return were dealt with both efficiently and professionally - just an under-performing product.
