Very good - just takes a moment to come to full brilliance.

These lamps have a very slow warm up. If a room has these lamps only it is barely possibly to walk across the room when the lights are first switched on. The intial illumination is very low indeed, such that if one walks out of the room again one forgets to switch them off as one is barely conscious that the lights were ever on. Which rooms are these recommended for? Is there any room or hallway where one can tolerate such a slow warm up? The alternative is to leave them on all the time, but then that's not saving energy.
