An energy saving ultra-violet blacklight blue compact fluorescent light bulb with an approximate life of 10,000 hours and an 80% reduction in electricity costs.

'Blacklight Blue' lamps are made with a special dark blue filter glass, which absorbs practically all the visible light but freely transmits the ultraviolet radiation peaking at 356.0nm.

They are used to create dramatic lighting effects in bars, night clubs and discotheques, and also in industry and commerce for detection and tracing work.
