Benefits of using Halogen Light Bulbs
-
They produce and extremely bright white constant light without burning out quickly.
-
The high precision light produced makes them ideal for task lighting applications such as operating tables, dentist chairs, laboratories and craftwork.
-
There are light fixtures with special reflectors made especially for halogen bulbs. These lamps and light fixtures make halogen bulbs even more effective in producing a bright and focused light.
-
They use less energy to produce highly bright light compared to incandescent bulbs. Halogen requires a stronger glass because its filament burns much hotter than a regular incandescent but because the interior bulb environment is carefully controlled; the bulb lasts longer than a traditional bulb they make bright, cost efficient porch lights and other outdoor and evening lights that reach further and illuminate more than regular light bulbs.
-
The extremely bright light they can produce is useful for photography and film. (Lighting used in spotlights and lighting for motion picture and stills are almost always halogen light bulbs.)
-
Unlike most fluorescent energy-saving light bulbs, are dimmable. This allows you the freedom to create various moods and environments not possible with fluorescent lighting.
-
Halogens come in a variety of sizes and shapes which make them a great choice for track, recessed, outside and security lighting.
