Magnetek Combined High Frequency & Emergency Ballasts are control gear and a combination of electronic ballast and emergency lighting unit for 2D fluorescent lamps. These 2D electronic ballasts and emergency packs, do not require an ignitor or capacitor to fire the fluorescent tube. Magnetek Combined High Frequency & Emergency Ballasts provide simple and efficient conversion from mains to an emergency luminaire. Emergency lighting is a prerequisite in case of mains voltage failure; emergency systems supply an artificial light used as safety lighting (i.e. for escape routes, hazardous workplaces, anti-panic areas) or as stand-by lighting (i.e. for areas in which normal activities must be continued).
