A range of Sylvania Lynx-S Blacklight Compact Fluorescent Tubes. These lamps are predominantly for use in Insectocutor Units (Fly Traps/Insect Killer Units). However, they are used in other applications including Industrial Units and Special Effects, and have an average life of approximately 8000 Hours, making them Energy Efficient.

Blacklight lamps differ from standard fluorescent lamps only in the composition of the phosphur which radiates most of its energy in the near ultraviolet region, peaking at about 350 nanometers.
