Bought the product for a new light fitting attached to a dimmer switch - light output is good only complaint is that one bulb failed after a few days (good job I bought spares) but others have been OK so far

These bulbs go on fully bright unlike some energy savers. the light is very white - the room is more white than with a striplight. I personally don\'t like it but my wife wanted this hence the reason for buying this bulb. Does exactly what it was supposed to do, although suspect you don\'t want it for your living room.
