Yes, you can coloured flood lights in a variety of colours.  Modern lighting technology (particularly LED), offers a wide array of coloured lighting options and there are also smart lighting options available for some of these floodlights allowing for specialised effects and intelligent control via an app or remote control.

Types of Coloured Floodlights

Coloured floodlights generally fall into two main categories:

1. Fixed-Colour Floodlights: These lights are made to emit a single colour such as red, green, blue or amber. They are often used for themed lighting for an event or for a holiday. 

2. Colour-Changing (RGB/RGBW) Floodlights: These floodlights contain multiple coloured LED lights based on the red, green and blue colour spectrum and they can then be switched to your preferred colour and brightness from the options it has available.   Whilst RGB flood lights can produce a white colour this will typically be a set shade of white which will not be a true white.  RGBW lights however include a dedicated white light option which is a true white light making them the preferred choice for this type of light as they can be used for everyday light as well as coloured/decorative.

Modern coloured RGB/RGBW flood lights will offer advanced control options to customise and operate the flood light:

Remote Control: Some colour-changing flood lights come with an Infrared (IR) or Radio Frequency (RF) remote control for changing the colours, dimming, and selecting different types of pre-set lighting modes such as flash or fade.

Smart Control (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth): Smart flood lights will include the facility to connect to your home Wi-Fi network or directly to a smart device via Bluetooth. You would then control these with the appropriate app to be able to operate the lights from your smart device.  Any smart control flood light will advise which app you need to download in its instructions and should say if it’s compatible on the box or the website you are purchasing it from.
