The surface mounted LED light fittings are very good, only criticism is the way they fix / hang from the ceiling! The 3 clips that mount on the ceiling are very fragile (bend very easily) and unless the ceiling is perfectly straight and level, the light fitting falls to the ground as they fail to hold it sufficiently. Also, if fitting is on a ceiling (underside of a timber floor), any movement above shakes the fittings loose and, again they fall from the ceiling! I had to improvise and use tie wraps / make metal strip brackets to hold each end of the fittings tight to the ceiling to prevent them falling to the ground. This does spoil the looks a bit, but as these lights are in my garage / workshop, it does not really matter. If I were fitting these strip lights for a customer, it would be a different story / matter, I would look for something with a physical fixing through the fitting, I cannot understand why the fittings do not have removable end caps, which underneath have holes for screw fixings to be used!
