This is a good substitute for the conventional candle bulb. Some reliability issues in first batch received, but BLT replaced faulty ones swiftly

The lamp was a good price, and the light output is fine. Like most energy saving lamps, it takes a minute or 2 to warm up. This may lead me in time to look for an LED equivalent, or get the newer technology in due course. I also had to replace the dimmer switch with a standard on/off.
