Purchased 6 of these bulbs to replace Megaman 9 watt (40 watt alternative), but they were no longer available, so BLT suggested the Kosnic (7 watt) as an alternative. However, they are not as bright as the Megaman and they take longer to warm up (not instant light). Although the Megaman bulbs are more expensive, they are of a superior quality and, as such, I do not feel that the Kosnic bulbs are a suitable replacement. Would look elsewhere for Megaman next time.

Good low cost, low power replacement for standard SES

I know everyone looks at these as being expensive but if you consider that they save you 70% on your electric bill and last up to 8 times longer than a standard bulb then if you\'re any good at Math you\'ll see the sums add up.
