Bought 4 of these to replace the incandescent ones in my lounge/hallway - thinking it would use less 'lecky, better for the planet, yadda yadda. One came damaged (to be fair it was replaced quibble free) but I have had to replace 2 others in short order. They certainly haven't lasted anywhere near the 10,000 hours quoted. One feature where you can tell when they are on their way out is by the way they flicker - sooooo annoying, and hurts the eyes. I have found exact replacements slightly cheaper than BLT, but one of these has started to flicker now after less than a month! I've bit the bullet and decided to go LED instead.

These lamps have an amazing output of light for their wattage. They arrived extremely well packed and the company kept me informed throughout. They will save a great deal of money in running costs over the 100 watt PAR 38\'s we had before. No hesitation in recommending them.
