I\'m using these bulbs in lighting rigs I built for filming short films and sketches, the amount of light they put out and colour temperature is perfect, I think I\'m going to buy some extra for use in the house too. I was slightly disapointed that one of them arrived faulty but this could easily be postal service heavy handling or fault in the manufacturing, the bulbs that did work seem well made so I\'m assuming that\'s just a blip.

I bought this to replace a 60W bulb in an old-fashioned indoor lamp-post with frosted glass. Whilst this bulb only just fitted inside it, it was worth it. For 46W it absolutely blows away the old 60W bulb, but I must say it wasn\'t quite the 220W I was expecting, I feel that a 100W old-school one would give more actual light. The light it does give is excellent though, really warm and not invasive and when fitted in my lamp post it is actually strangely good for an evening or romantic lighting level.

These bulbs produce a warm but absolutely brilliant light output. They do not look at all out of keeping even with quite ordinary open lampshades.
