These are probably the best bulbs I have ever bought and I will be buying some more in the near future

I plugged it, it works. 'nuff said

Used as an exterior porch light in a hotel, this bulb provides a distinctive bright white light. Our entrance definitely stands out compared with everyone else.

as I am a migraine sufferer I have used day light bulbs for a long time. This is the first time I have used as high a wattage and I find it to very good in my kitchen. I have day light bulbs all over the house and I will continue to use BLT to purchase them.

after a while the white plastic at the top of the light goes yellow due to heat. However, lights are nice and bright and the design is attractive. I would still recommend.

A friend mentioned that the room was dark (tree outside) and that the artificial light was \"yellow\". I\'d learned about light level gradations (from the website) as a layman last year and had bought the 30W (150W equiv) for myself. I thought, \"Aha!\" Needs a daylight bulb.\" Wasn\'t sure if elderly friend would like the brightness of the daylight version of the 24W (approx 100-110W) for her living room, but yes, she does - and so does a visitor intending to buy one also. Similarly to the 30W, it lights up instantly. My friend noticed that, plus it says that on the label, but clearly my friend was surprised that it really did. What I want now are some (lots) of the golfball lamps, but have to save some pennies first.

I bought one around Xmas and it\'s great in my living room. I can see again, lol. It\'s 150W equivalent, so bright, but that\'s what I wanted to be able to read, sew, iron etc. I bought another recently for a different room, which of course I can put in or take out so alternating with a lower output bulb when ambient rather than bright light is needed. But again, it\'s great that the light from the 30W bulb reaches all four corners of the room. I say \"alternating\" as the 30W is not dimmable. Hey, can\'t have everything ;) For those times when you want light, and just want to not have to peer through the gloom of standard (dismal) low energy bulbs, then I wouldn\'t be without mine. Also, it does light up immediately (like it says it does) - so don\'t have to wait for it warm up as with other low energy bulbs. If bright light is what you want from a lightbulb, then it does what it says it does.

These are fine bulbs that meets all my needs: clear bright light, ecological, long-lasting and cheap enough to have throughout the home as they won\'t need replacing for years.

An excellent lamp for the garage, but far too harsh for home use. In a living room much better to use the warm white range of lamps at 2700K.

I have had several spiral daylight bulbs in the past. The reason I stopped buying them was because they had a very short lifespan. These are much smaller and neater than previous models, warm up to full brightness almost instantly, and give the best illumination for reading etc. that I have experienced since the old tungsten bulbs. I am just waiting to see how long they last, and will definitely buy more if they are o.k. in that respect.
