LED and CFL light bulbs are more energy efficient compared to Energy Saving Halogen, they also last a lot longer.
Based on a 60 watt equivalent, LED will run for up to 50,000 hours, CFL will last up to 10,000 hours but Energy Saving halogen is only expected to last up to 2,000 hours.
