We have two light fittings in our kitchen, each housing three R50 bulbs. We were used to replacing one every month or so on average, so these should work out much cheaper over time if they last as long as expected. Fast delivery and well packed - they were an easy straight replacement, no problems. Only slight downside is that they take a minute or two to warm up and provide maximum illumination - not a problem , but don\'t expect them to come on bright straight away at the flick of a switch.

Does what it is meant to do and is saving energy. Expensive, so has to last a long time. Only time will tell.

80%+ energy saving - a no brainer. I used to have 3 40watt bulbs 3 of these babies save me 99 watts.
