What is a G4 LED light bulb?

A G4 LED light bulb is a small capsule shaped bulb that has been designed to replace halogen G4 capsule bulbs.  They are also 12v which matches the older halogen style and they are available in colour temperatures which include Warm White (2700k), Cool White (4000K) and Daylight (6000K).  These bulbs have two small pins that are spaced 4mm apart and this is reflected in its descriptor- “G4”.   Its two pin design allows the to fit perfectly into matching light fittings.  Because of this it is a great choice for applications where there is a limited amount of space and a discrete source of light is needed.
